Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa excited to be a part of Trump’s sports council, calls it a privilege
Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has been named to Donald Trump’s council on sports, fitness, and nutrition. Tagovailoa, along with two other NFL stars, Nick Bosa and Harrison Butker, have shown support for Trump’s Maga movement. Tagovailoa expressed pride in being named to the council, despite not publicly endorsing the president. Trump plans to bring back the presidential fitness test for American children through an executive order. Tagovailoa laughed off Trump mispronouncing his name, stating he doesn’t take it to heart. Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley declined his invitation to join the council due to a busy schedule. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will also be a member.
