After being benched last fall for admitting he took himself off the field due to fatigue, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson has made changes to his diet, losing 10 pounds by cutting out sweets and focusing on hydration. He is working on technical aspects of his game to become a more accurate passer, showing improvement in accuracy on shorter throws. Despite struggles in his first two pro seasons, Richardson is favored to start the Colts’ Week 1 game against the Miami Dolphins. He will have a chance to showcase his progress in the preseason opener against the Baltimore Ravens on Aug. 7.
