Raiders Player Upset Over Wilkins’ Kiss
Christian Wilkins was released by the Las Vegas Raiders after an incident where he kissed a teammate on the head, causing offense. The incident, which occurred during a team meeting, was deemed playful by one source but not received that way by the teammate. Wilkins had been recovering from a foot injury and had his guaranteed money voided due to his handling of the rehab. The Raiders investigated the incident after a complaint was filed with their human resources department. Wilkins asked the NFL Players Association to file a grievance on his behalf. The team has since moved on from the situation and Wilkins has signed a lucrative contract with the team last offseason.
