Jimmy Horn, Panthers rookie receiver and returner, aims to emulate Steve Smith on field
The Carolina Panthers drafted Jimmy Horn in the sixth round this year, hoping he can follow in the footsteps of former wide receiver Steve Smith. Smith was also drafted by the Panthers in the third round in 2001 and started on special teams before becoming a top receiver in franchise history. Horn expressed his eagerness to contribute in any way as a rookie, just like Smith did. He admires Smith’s physicality and determination on the field and aims to emulate that.
