Myles Garrett of the Browns comments on Micah Parsons’ contract extension wishes with Cowboys
Star pass-rusher Micah Parsons of the Dallas Cowboys believes that waiting to give him a contract extension will end up costing the team more in the long run. Parsons is in the final year of his rookie contract and has indicated that he may only participate in individual drills during training camp if an extension is not agreed upon. Myles Garrett of the Cleveland Browns recently reset the market for sack specialists with a lucrative contract extension. Parsons’ teammate, T.J. Watt, is also seeking a contract extension with a pay raise. It remains to be seen how negotiations between Parsons and the Cowboys will progress in the coming months.
