Aaron Rodgers’s incentives are largely unattainable
Aaron Rodgers signed a one-year, $13.65 million deal with the Steelers that includes a $5.85 million incentive package based on performance. To earn the incentives, Rodgers must participate in 70% of offensive snaps and help the team win games, ultimately leading to a Super Bowl victory. The deal offers various bonuses for reaching different stages of the playoffs, as well as an additional incentive if Rodgers wins the regular-season MVP award. While it may seem unlikely for all of the incentives to be met, if the Steelers win the Super Bowl and Rodgers is named MVP, the team will have secured one of the best veteran quarterback contracts in NFL history.
