NFL, NFLPA continue to hide ruling from collusion grievance

NFL and NFLPA still keep decision on collusion grievance under wraps

The NFL and NFL Players Association are withholding a 61-page collusion grievance ruling that found evidence of collusion regarding fully-guaranteed contracts for veteran quarterbacks like Lamar Jackson, Russell Wilson, and Kyler Murray. The ruling resulted in no money being awarded to the players, indicating a mixed result. Both sides are hiding the document, possibly containing sensitive internal communications. Despite the private nature of arbitration agreements, the public nature of the NFL should require the release of the document. However, without pressure to do so, they can use distractions such as the Super Bowl, Scouting Combine, and free agency to keep the ruling hidden from the public eye.
