Trayveon Williams signs with the Patriots
The Patriots signed running back Trayveon Williams, who previously played for the Bengals for six seasons. Williams was drafted by Cincinnati in 2019 and played in 68 regular season games, running for 307 yards and averaging 22.5 yards on 33 kickoff returns. The Patriots also have TreVeyon Henderson, Rhamondre Stevenson, Antonio Gibson, Lan Larison, and Terrell Jennings on their roster. In a corresponding move, defensive tackle Eric Johnson was waived after recording 17 tackles in 11 games last season.
