Ravens Ink Derrick Henry to A Historic $30 Million Contract Extension
The Baltimore Ravens have signed Derrick Henry to a two-year contract extension worth $30m, making him the highest-paid running back over 30 years old. The deal includes $25m guaranteed and extends his previous contract, which was set to expire at the end of the season. Henry, 31, is the NFL’s active leading rusher with 11,423 yards and 106 touchdowns. His performance last season was exceptional, with 1,921 rushing yards and a higher yards per rushing attempt than Saquon Barkley. Henry’s presence on the field also benefited teammate Lamar Jackson and has solidified his reputation as a top running back in the league.
