DeMarcus Walker, free agent DE, set to visit Giants on Wednesday
DeMarcus Walker, a free agent pass rusher, is visiting the Giants. He was released by the Bears in February and has not signed with a team since. Walker recorded 47 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and 16 quarterback hits in 17 games last season with the Bears. The 30-year-old signed a three-year, $21 million contract with the Bears in 2023. Walker was a second-round pick by the Broncos in 2017 and has also played for the Texans and Titans. Giants defensive coordinator Shane Bowen worked with Walker in Tennessee in 2022. Walker was scheduled to make $5.2 million in base salary with the Bears.
