The Seahawks have signed former Saints cornerback Shemar Jean-Charles
The Seahawks have signed free agent cornerback Shemar Jean-Charles to add depth to their secondary and special teams. Jean-Charles played nine games for the Saints last year, starting two at cornerback and contributing on special teams. A 2021 fifth-round pick of the Packers, he has also played for the 49ers. Although he has primarily played on special teams in his NFL career, the Seahawks are looking for contributions from him as both a cornerback and on kick coverage. This signing provides the Seahawks with additional depth and versatility in their secondary and special teams units.
