Ogunjobi and Hoecht of the Bills suspended for 6 games due to PED use
Alaina Getzenberg covers the Buffalo Bills for ESPN and joined the network in 2021, previously working for the Charlotte Observer, CBS Sports, and the Dallas Morning News. Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane announced that defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi and defensive end Michael Hoecht will miss the first six games of the season for violating the NFL’s policy against performance-enhancing drugs. Ogunjobi accepted responsibility for his positive test, while Hoecht admitted to carelessness in checking substances. Both players will stay with the team through training camp. Beane stated that the Bills would not have signed the players if they had been aware of the positive tests beforehand.
