Buccaneers and OL Charlie Heck reach agreement on terms
Free agent offensive tackle Charlie Heck has signed a one-year deal with the Buccaneers, likely serving as the team’s swing tackle. Originally drafted by the Texans in 2020, Heck played four seasons in Houston before joining the Cardinals’ practice squad and later signing with the 49ers. Last season, he appeared in 50 games with 23 starts, playing 117 offensive snaps and 37 on special teams. Heck will replace Justin Skule on the Buccaneers and adds depth to their offensive line.
