Insider alleges Russell Wilson is sabotaging relationship with Seahawks and DK Metcalf
Current Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson was teammates with wide receiver DK Metcalf on the Seattle Seahawks until Wilson was traded in March 2022. Seattle sports insider Ian Furness suggested that Wilson was responsible for Metcalf wanting to leave the Seahawks. Reports of Wilson being a “cancer” in the locker room surfaced before he reportedly tried to get the head coach and general manager fired. Wilson may not play with Metcalf in Pittsburgh, as the Steelers are considering other quarterback options. Furness indicated that Seahawks personnel blame Wilson for Metcalf’s expected contract extension with the Steelers. Wilson’s reputation in Seattle seems tarnished, and he may end up signing with the Titans.
