Steelers reportedly extend offer to quarterback aside from Justin Fields and Aaron Rodgers
On Tuesday, it was reported that New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers was likely to sign with either the Pittsburgh Steelers or New York Giants after Justin Fields took a deal with the Steelers as his replacement. Former NFL QB Chase Daniel revealed that Pittsburgh had made an offer to Sam Darnold, who ultimately chose to join the Seattle Seahawks over the Steelers due to his preference for their offensive coordinator. The Steelers had desired Fields as their quarterback but were unwilling to pay the price for Darnold.
