DE Young agrees to a 3-year contract with the Saints
On March 10, 2025, the New Orleans Saints announced they were re-signing defensive end Chase Young to a three-year, $51 million deal. The contract has the potential to increase to $57 million based on performance incentives. Young, 25, had a productive season in 2024 with 5.5 sacks and 46 pressures, ranking 11th in the NFL. He was the No. 2 pick in the 2020 draft and has played for the Washington Commanders and San Francisco 49ers before joining the Saints in 2024. Young was the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2020 and has a total of 22 career sacks in 32 starts over five seasons.
