Ravens Decide to Not Offer Tender to CB Christian Matthew
The Ravens have decided not to tender cornerback Christian Matthew, making him a free agent. Matthew, a former seventh-round pick of the Cardinals, had zero games played with Baltimore. After spending a season and a half with the Cardinals and being released in 2023, Matthew was signed to the Bears’ practice squad before being released. He was then signed by the Ravens in January 2024 but suffered a season-ending injury in training camp. In his career, Matthew has three starts in 20 games played, with 20 tackles and three pass breakups. He will hit the free agent market on Wednesday.
