Former No. 3 overall pick Trey Lance set to enter free agency following limited playing time
Quarterback Trey Lance has been a costly disappointment in the NFL. The San Francisco 49ers traded multiple high draft picks for him, but he only started a few games in two seasons before being traded to the Dallas Cowboys. Despite not playing much for the Cowboys, they gave up a draft pick for his talent. However, after completing only 56.6 percent of his passes and having a losing record as a starter, Lance will hit free agency hoping for a chance to prove himself as a backup.
