Carroll from Washington Joins Father’s Raiders Coaching Staff
The Las Vegas Raiders are hiring University of Washington offensive coordinator Brennan Carroll as their offensive line coach, reuniting him with new head coach Pete Carroll, who is also Brennan’s father. Washington head coach Jedd Fisch confirmed the news, promoting quarterbacks coach Jimmie Dougherty to offensive coordinator in Carroll’s place. Carroll previously worked with Pete Carroll at USC and Seattle. Brennan Carroll is known for his successful stints at Washington and Arizona under Fisch. In addition, the Raiders have also hired Chip Kelly as their offensive coordinator. Fisch is also replacing his defensive coordinator at Washington with the hiring of Ryan Walters.
