Ben Johnson named as Bears’ new head coach
Ben Johnson has accepted a head coaching job with the Chicago Bears in the NFC North, after serving various roles with the Detroit Lions since 2019. The deal is rumored to be around $13 million per year. Johnson helped lead the Lions to a top-five offense in the NFL over the past three seasons. He will now work with quarterback Caleb Williams in Chicago. Johnson has previous coaching experience with the Miami Dolphins and Boston College. The Las Vegas Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars also showed interest in him. Johnson will be taking on his first NFL head coaching role with the Bears.
