Report suggests Browns players may be growing tired of Deshaun Watson
Deshaun Watson may never play for the Cleveland Browns again after re-injuring his Achilles during recovery. Some players were relieved by his absence due to a negative energy in the locker room. The Browns qualified for the playoffs under Joe Flacco and Alex Van Pelt while Watson was out, but controversially moved on from them to accommodate Watson’s return. Watson struggled under new offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey and the team’s record suffered. There were frustrations regarding Watson’s mistakes not being addressed during film sessions.
