Shaquil Barrett reverses retirement decision, opts to continue career with Buccaneers
Two-time Pro Bowl linebacker Shaquil Barrett has re-signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, after previously spending five seasons with the team and helping them win a Super Bowl. Barrett led the NFL in sacks in his first year with the Bucs and has had a successful career with the team. He briefly retired last year but decided to unretire and rejoin the team. Safety Jordan Whitehead has been activated from injured reserve, while safety Christian Izien has been placed on IR. The Bucs also activated rookie wide receiver Kameron Johnson and elevated punter Jack Browning from the practice squad.
