Ravens Acquire Diontae Johnson from Panthers to strengthen Wide Receiver lineup before NFL trade deadline
The Baltimore Ravens have acquired Diontae Johnson from the Carolina Panthers in a trade deal pending Johnson passing a physical. The Ravens will give up a future fifth-round draft pick and receive a sixth-rounder from Carolina. Johnson, who was acquired by Carolina from the Pittsburgh Steelers this past offseason, was expected to be available before the in-season trade deadline. He has been a top receiving option for the Panthers with 30 catches for 357 yards and three touchdowns in seven games. Johnson will join Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman in the Ravens’ receiving corps following a loss to the Cleveland Browns.
