Eagles activate Sydney Brown to roster after long ACL recovery

Sydney Brown activated to Eagles roster following successful ACL recovery

The Philadelphia Eagles have activated safety Sydney Brown from the PUP list after his long recovery from an ACL tear. Brown will make his 2024 debut on Sunday at MetLife Stadium, where he suffered the injury last season. He takes the roster spot left vacant by Jordan Mailata going to IR. Brown has been practicing for the last two weeks and is eager to contribute on special teams and defense. As a rookie, he showed promise with 45 tackles, 3 pass breakups, a forced fumble, and an interception. The Eagles also elevated OL Jack Driscoll for this game, but the focus is on Brown’s return.
