49ers practice report: Wide receiver depth being tested by injuries

Injuries testing depth of 49ers wide receiver corps during practice

The 49ers are dealing with multiple injuries ahead of their game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Both kickers on the roster, Jake Moody and Matthew Wright, were sidelined with injuries. Wide receiver Deebo Samuel wore a non-contact jersey during practice due to a wrist injury, and Jauan Jennings also sat out with a hip injury. Defensive linemen Maliek Collins and Jordan Elliott are nursing knee injuries. Despite the injuries, George Kittle and Fred Warner did not worsen their previous ailments. The team may call up rookie Evan Anderson for Sunday’s game. Other players making their way back from injury include Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles and Charvarius Ward.
