Ravens waive 2023 sixth-round pick; cut 2022 fourth-round cornerback from practice squad

Ravens Release 2023 Sixth-Round Pick and 2022 Fourth-Round Cornerback from Practice Squad

The Baltimore Ravens signed pass rusher Yannick Ngakoue from the practice squad to their active roster, waiving former sixth-round pick Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu to make space. Aumavae-Laulu, drafted in 2023, struggled to secure a starting role and was eventually relegated to special teams in his second season. The Ravens also cut cornerback Damarion Williams from the practice squad, creating two open spots. Williams, a 2022 fourth-round pick, was previously released during roster cuts. The Ravens’ roster now stands at 53 players with the addition of Ngakoue and the removal of Aumavae-Laulu and Williams.
