Bills’ Hall of Famer Billy Shaw dead at 85

Legendary Bills player Billy Shaw dies at 85

Buffalo Bills legend Billy Shaw has passed away at the age of 85 due to hyponatremia. Shaw was a five-time All-Pro and Pro Football Hall of Famer who was drafted by the Bills in 1961. He was named an AFL All-Star eight times, earned five All-AFL nods, won two AFL championships, and started in 116 of his 119 career games. Shaw was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1999, being the only member to have played his entire career in the AFL. Despite being undersized for his position, Shaw was a dominant force on the field.
