Insider: Tua Tagovailoa given green light for regular activities, except football
Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is still on injured reserve but is expected to return later in the 2024 season. He has been recovering from a concussion and has received clearance for normal activities. Skylar Thompson started in Week 3 as Tagovailoa’s replacement, and Tyler Huntley was signed from the Ravens’ practice squad after Tagovailoa’s injury. Miami has not contacted other teams for potential quarterback options. Tagovailoa cannot return until Week 8 at the earliest, and the team is taking a cautious approach to his recovery. The Dolphins hope Tagovailoa will be able to practice soon and return to action.
