Steelers turn to Fields as starting QB with Wilson sidelined
Justin Fields started at quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers in a 18-10 victory against the Atlanta Falcons as Russell Wilson was sidelined with a calf injury. Fields threw for 156 yards and rushed for 57 yards, without any touchdowns or interceptions. Meanwhile, Wilson, who aggravated his injury in training camp, served as the team’s emergency quarterback. Fields, who was traded from the Chicago Bears, has a chance to earn a higher draft pick if he plays more than 50% of the team’s snaps this season. Wilson and Fields both went through warmups before the game, with Fields taking the first reps in passing drills.
