Jordan Love injures MCL, avoids ACL tear in final moments against Eagles
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love suffered an MCL sprain and is expected to miss 3-6 weeks after being injured during the game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Love was assisted off the field and underwent tests showing his ACL was intact. The injury occurred after a 33-yard completion to Jayden Reed. Love’s emergence as a starter last season led to high expectations for the Packers. Backup quarterback Malik Willis took over briefly after Love’s injury. Love signed a four-year, $220 million extension this summer. The Packers are awaiting further updates on Love’s condition. Despite limited experience behind Love, they have reinforcements in Willis and Sean Clifford.
