Pack’s Love Suspected to Have MCL Sprain, Say Sources
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is expected to miss multiple weeks after suffering a suspected sprained MCL in a season-opening loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Love will undergo further testing to confirm the injury, but the Packers hope for a three-to-four-week recovery without surgery. Rookie Malik Willis took over as the backup quarterback after Love’s injury. Love had signed a record-breaking $220 million contract in July but only played three snaps in the preseason due to injury. There is no scheduled media availability for Love after the game, and the Packers face the Indianapolis Colts in their home opener next week.
