Lawsuit alleging sexual assault against former Jacksonville Jaguars player McManus has been dismissed
A lawsuit filed by two women accusing former Jacksonville kicker Brandon McManus of sexually assaulting them on an overseas trip in 2023 was dismissed by a Florida judge. The women were given 10 days to file an amended complaint using their real names. The lawsuit claimed McManus acted inappropriately on a team charter flight, with one woman alleging he tried to kiss her and another claiming he grinded against her. The women are seeking over $1 million in damages and a jury trial. McManus’s attorney welcomed the ruling, while the Jaguars declined to comment. The women claimed they suffered mental anguish and were removed from staffing future Jaguars flights.
