Buccaneers RB expected to miss 2024 season

Buccaneers Running Back likely to be sidelined for the 2024 season

Last week, Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles announced that running back Chase Edmonds was expected to play in 2024 after being sidelined with an injury. If Edmonds had made the 53-man roster before landing on injured reserve (IR), he would have had to sit out at least four games. Instead, his only path to playing in 2024 would be via an injury settlement with the team. Edmonds had been productive with the Cardinals before signing with the Dolphins and eventually joining the Buccaneers. However, his role as RB2 in Tampa Bay didn’t lead to much production, and with new additions to the team, he is now unlikely to make the roster for the upcoming season.
