CeeDee Lamb signs new $136 million contract, ending holdout with Cowboys
CeeDee Lamb ended his holdout with the Dallas Cowboys, agreeing to a $136 million, four-year contract with $100 million guaranteed, making him the second highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history behind Justin Jefferson. Lamb missed all of training camp after also skipping mandatory minicamp. He was drafted in 2020 and had a breakout season last year with 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns. The deal was reached just before the Cowboys’ season opener, giving Lamb and quarterback Dak Prescott time to work on their connection before facing the Cleveland Browns. The team’s next priorities are long-term contracts for Prescott and Micah Parsons.
