Quarterback Daniel Jones is eager to play in the Giants’ preseason game against the Lions despite recovering from a torn ACL. Head coach Brian Daboll has yet to decide if Jones will take the field. Jones played only one possession in last year’s preseason, understanding that starting quarterbacks either play limitedly or not at all. Nonetheless, Jones is prepared and ready for Week One, even if he doesn’t play in the preseason.
