Lamar Jackson narrowly misses top spot in NFL Top 100 rankings despite securing second MVP title
The NFL Top 100 Players of 2024 list concluded with Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens ranked as the second-best player in the league. Despite an MVP-winning season, Jackson was surpassed by wide receiver Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins. Hill’s MVP contention was strong but hindered by injuries late in the season. Jackson bounced back in 2023, setting new career highs and leading the Ravens in rushing for the fifth straight year. The Ravens had a total of five players on the list, tying for the fourth-most representation. Jackson’s ranking was a significant improvement from the previous year, where he was ranked at No. 72.
