Buccaneers’ Randy Gregory does not report for training camp after missing mandatory minicamp

Randy Gregory of the Buccaneers fails to attend training camp following absence from mandatory minicamp.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers placed outside linebacker Randy Gregory on the reserve/did not report list after he failed to report to training camp. Gregory had previously missed mandatory minicamps and voluntary offseason workouts without explanation. He signed a one-year deal with the Buccaneers in the offseason to strengthen their defense. Last season, he played for the San Francisco 49ers and recorded 3.5 sacks and 10 quarterback hits. Gregory was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in 2015 and has 22 sacks and 108 tackles in his career. His current absence from the team remains unexplained by Gregory, his agent, or his attorney.
