Saints re-sign Shaheed to one-year, $5.2M contract extension
The New Orleans Saints have agreed to a one-year, $5.2 million contract extension with exclusive rights free agent wide receiver Rashid Shaheed. Shaheed, who is also a returner for the Saints, was an All-Pro and Pro Bowl selection last season. The deal was negotiated by his agents Drew Rosenhaus and Robert Bailey. Shaheed had a successful season under starting quarterback Derek Carr in 2023, finishing with 46 receptions for 719 yards and five touchdowns. Known for his running threat and speed, Shaheed will continue to be a key player for the team as they open training camp and prepare for the upcoming season.
