Ravens release young wide receiver; veteran Keith Kirkwood joins team
The Baltimore Ravens waived rookie receiver Tayvion Robinson and signed veteran Keith Kirkwood to bring their roster back to 91 players. Kirkwood, a six-year veteran, impressed during minicamp tryouts and earned a spot for training camp in July and August. The 29-year-old has played for the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers, appearing in 32 games and recording 26 receptions for 302 yards and four touchdowns. Standing at 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds, Kirkwood adds size to the Ravens’ receiving group and brings a diverse skillset to the team.
