Tee Higgins, Bengals wide receiver, agrees to 1-year franchise tender offer
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins has signed his one-year franchise tender for the 2024 season, but his long-term future with the team is uncertain. Higgins received the franchise tag in February and will make $21.8 million for the upcoming season. If a long-term deal is not reached by July 15, Higgins could become a free agent next March. Despite playing in the shadow of Ja’Marr Chase, Higgins has been a key player for the Bengals, with back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons. The Bengals are also looking to develop younger receivers as they move forward without Tyler Boyd, who signed with Tennessee.
