WR Kyric McGowan signs with Jaguars, while OL Chandler Brewer is placed on IR
The Jaguars signed receiver Kyric McGowan and placed offensive lineman Chandler Brewer on injured reserve. McGowan, originally an undrafted free agent with the Commanders, appeared in two games with Washington in 2022 before spending most of the season on the practice squad. Earlier this week, he participated in Jacksonville’s veteran minicamp on a tryout basis. Brewer, who signed with the Rams in 2019 as an undrafted free agent, opted out of the 2020 season due to the pandemic. The 27-year-old has played in 14 career games with four starts, seeing action in one game last season for the Jaguars.
