Before the season begins, Bills defensive coordinator will be given a chance to be the play-caller
Leslie Frazier did not return as the Bills defensive coordinator this season, with Bobby Babich taking over the role. Babich, who has been with the team since 2017, has never called plays at the college or pro level before. Head coach Sean McDermott has not yet decided if Babich will call plays, but he plans to give him the opportunity to do so during training camp and preseason games. Buffalo’s defense will have to adjust to the loss of key players like Tre’Davious White and Leonard Floyd, making the decision on play caller an important storyline to follow during the summer.
