Greg Hardy suffers knockout defeat in Texas boxing bout
Former NFL pass rusher Greg Hardy, who has dabbled in boxing and MMA, suffered a knockout in a Texas Combat League match by Patrick Mailata. Hardy, with a 3-0 record as a pro boxer and 7-5 in MMA, was previously released by the UFC. In 2023, he was knocked out in a bareknuckle boxing contest. Hardy last played in the NFL in 2015 for the Cowboys, following domestic violence allegations. Despite a successful season with 13.0 sacks in 2014, Hardy’s career came to an end due to off-field issues.
