Higgins unlikely to attend Bengals OTAs
Cincinnati Bengals star receiver Tee Higgins has not yet signed his franchise tender, causing an unresolved contract situation that will keep him out of organized team activities. Higgins and the Bengals have not discussed a long-term deal in over a year, making him the only player with the franchise tag this year who has not signed a multiyear contract. Quarterback Joe Burrow has voiced support for Higgins, who requested a trade this offseason. Higgins has until July 15 to negotiate a long-term deal, otherwise, he will earn $21.8 million on a one-year deal. Despite injuries, Higgins has been a key player for the Bengals since being drafted in 2020.
