Analyzing Drake Maye’s Performance on Day 1 of Patriots OTAs
The Patriots are focused on drafting and developing young players, including quarterback Drake Maye. At OTAs, Maye was third-string behind Jacoby Brissett and Bailey Zappe, possibly to give the veterans more reps and a chance to compete. Maye showed improvement in footwork drills and had a solid day overall. The offensive line saw some changes, with new signings at key positions. Notable absences included Matthew Judon and Josh Uche. Rhamondre Stevenson was busy in practice, showcasing his skills in various roles. Overall, it’s still early in the offseason, and the team is working on developing their young talent while preparing for the upcoming season.
