Pro Football Hall of Famer and ‘Mr. Raider’ Jim Otto passes away at age 86
Hall of Fame center Jim Otto, known as “Mr. Raider,” has passed away at the age of 86. Otto played for the Raiders for 15 years without missing a game due to injuries, despite undergoing numerous operations. He was a key player in the team’s success in the 1960s and 70s, winning seven division titles and playing in the Super Bowl. Otto was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame and is considered one of the AFL’s all-time greats. He continued to be involved with the Raiders even after his playing career, organizing events for fans and former players.
