Kellen Mond aiming for long-term success with 49ers after workout
Kellen Mond, a quarterback without a current team, participated in the 49ers’ local pro day in hopes of securing a job. He joined three other veterans and San Jose State’s Chevan Cordeiro at the workout. Mond, a former Viking and Brown, spent last season on the Colts’ practice squad. He has only played one game in the NFL but feels his mechanics have improved. Mond is familiar with the 49ers’ system, having worked with former 49ers passing game coordinator Klint Kubiak. He sees any opportunity to showcase his skills and ability to learn and adapt as valuable.
