Texans release defensive end from team
The Texans have made multiple moves on the waiver wire, with defensive linemen Derek Barnett and Teair Tart being claimed and signing contracts. Barnett has returned to the Texans, while Tart has joined the Dolphins. Myjai Sanders, a 2022 Cardinals third-round pick, has been waived by Houston after being claimed off waivers previously. Sanders did not record a sack during his time with the Texans. This is the second time Sanders has been waived in six months, previously being cut by the Cardinals. The Texans have added Dylan Horton and Alex Bachman while waiving safety Josh Thompson. Bachman has not played since the 2021 season.
