Jets address critical position needs by acquiring highly decorated player in major trade with Eagles
Haason Reddick has been traded from the Eagles to the Jets with New York sending a conditional 2026 third-round pick to Philadelphia. If Reddick plays at least 67.5% of snaps and records 10 sacks, the pick will become a second-rounder. The Jets will take on $14.5M of Reddick’s compensation. He is expected to land a new contract with the Jets. Reddick has posted at least 11 sacks in each of the past four seasons and has been a Pro Bowler in his two seasons with the Eagles. His addition will help offset the loss of Bryce Huff and strengthen the Jets’ edge-rushing group.
