Giants continue adding to offensive line, agreeing to terms with OT Matt Nelson

Giants bolster offensive line with addition of OT Matt Nelson

The Giants have signed veteran OT Matt Nelson to add to their offensive line, after Matt Peart left in free agency. Nelson, originally a defensive end from the University of Iowa, transitioned to the offensive line after joining the Lions in 2019. He made 16 appearances in 2020 and started 11 games in 2021 before an ankle injury ended his season. Now with the Giants, Nelson will join a completely revamped offensive line that includes new additions Jon Runyan Jr., Jermaine Eluemunor, Aaron Stinnie, and Austin Schlottman. He presents a potential swing-tackle option for the team.
